Spencer Post, LSCSW
About Me:
I specialize in Anxiety, Autism, Attention Deficit, and Motivation in adults and children. My therapy approach was developed through years of academic and medical research focusing on Neurodevelopmental disorders, and the associated impact on motivation, attention, anxiety and self worth. I graduated from the University of Kansas with a Master’s degree in Social Welfare in 2011. I have held research and clinical positions at Duke University, Kansas University Medical Center, the University of Colorado, University of Missouri Medical Center, and Comcare Wichita. I have publish articles in mental health and physical sciences. I made the move to private practice in 2016.
I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Attention Deficit Interventions (ADHD-I) and Autism Behavioral Therapy and Analysis (ASD-BA)
Choosing a therapist can be overwhelming. Having to deal with mental health can be enough on it’s own. I want everyone that comes into my office to feel like they have a choice. I want to be a good fit. If not, I will do everything I can to make sure you get to the right person. My main goal is to help people feel better.
